Privacy Policy

In short

• No account is required. As a guest, no data ever leaves your device.
• No ads, no advertising SDKs, no tracking.
• If you create an account, only your email address, a user ID and your lesson progress are stored on our servers.
• You can delete your account and all of its data inside the app with one tap.

What we collect

Guest mode: nothing. Your progress (XP, streak, completed lessons, review cards) and settings are stored only on your device.

With an account: your email address (or the identity Apple provides with Sign in with Apple, plus an optional name), a random user ID, and your lesson progress. This data is used only to run your account and sync progress between devices ("App Functionality"). It is never sold, shared or used for marketing.

Optional anonymous usage data

The "Anonymous usage data" switch in Settings is off by default. If you turn it on, only counters such as "lesson started/finished" and "streak updated" are sent, without email, name or device identifiers. No provider currently receives this data.

Where your data is stored

Account data is stored with Supabase (EU data centre) and encrypted in transit (HTTPS). See supabase.com/privacy.

Notifications

Daily reminders are scheduled locally on your device and never sent to a server.

Deleting your account

In the app: Profile → Delete account permanently removes your account and all server data. If you no longer have access to the app, email macaristancepte@gmail.com from your registered address and we will delete it within 30 days.

Children

Szia is rated 13+ on the App Store (restaurant lessons mention drinks) and does not knowingly collect personal data from children. Creating an account requires an email address.

Under GDPR and Turkish KVKK you may access, correct, delete or export your data. Contact macaristancepte@gmail.com.
